The club features a Ted Robinson Sr. and Jr.-designed golf course, a 7,060-yard, par-72 layout that weaves through rolling hills and lava rock outcroppings. Designed to take full advantage of its elevated setting, the course provides long-range ocean and mountain views from nearly every hole. Strategic bunkering, water features, and dramatic elevation changes define the routing. Fairways are generous, but approach shots demand accuracy to access multi-tiered greens.
Among the course’s standout features is the stretch from holes 10 to 12, which showcases a mix of downhill par 4s and a scenic par 3 framed by native vegetation. The practice facilities include a full driving range, putting green, and short game area, all maintained to mirror on-course conditions. While the club is private, guests can experience the course through its “Member for a Day” program, offering limited access to one of Maui’s most scenic and thoughtfully designed courses.
Whether you’re captivated by the iconic clubhouse or the elevated play, King Kamehameha Golf Club offers a golf experience that balances exclusivity, scenery, and design in one of Hawai‘i’s most central and storied locations.
