Located on Marine Corps Base Hawaii in Kaneohe Bay, Kaneohe Klipper Golf Course offers one of the most scenic rounds of golf on the island. Designed by William P. Bell in 1952, the course sits between the Koʻolau Mountains and the Pacific Ocean, with sweeping coastal views from multiple vantage points. While access is primarily limited to military personnel, families, and authorized guests, civilians may occasionally play through the Public Partners Program. On-site amenities include a driving range, putting green, chipping area, a pro shop, and full-service dining at the Klipper Grill. Players can also enjoy refreshments from The Puka, the on-course snack bar.

The 18-hole, par-72 layout measures 6,528 yards from the back tees, with Bermuda grass fairways and greens suited for year-round play in Hawai‘i’s coastal climate. The course combines natural beauty with strategic design, offering wide landing areas, rolling terrain, and the challenge of consistent trade winds. A standout feature is the oceanfront stretch along the back nine, including the signature par-4 13th hole, which runs parallel to the beach and delivers panoramic views and gusty crosswinds.
Whether warming up at the practice range or taking in the views from the clubhouse patio, Kaneohe Klipper Golf Course delivers a distinctive island golf experience with a strong sense of place and purpose. It remains a favorite among military golfers and those lucky enough to secure a tee time on one of Oʻahu’s most memorable coastal layouts.
