At the core of the club is its Tom Fazio-designed Championship Golf Course, a 7,419-yard, par-72 layout that flows through black lava rock, natural vegetation, and dramatic elevation changes. Opened in 2002, the course was built to preserve the integrity of the surrounding landscape while delivering a world-class golfing challenge. Fairways are generous, but approach shots must be precise, especially on holes where ocean winds and elevation shifts influence club selection. Panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean frame several holes, with the closing stretch offering some of the most scenic play on the island. In addition to the 18-hole course, Kūkiʻo offers a 10-hole Short Course, also designed by Fazio. This course features seven par-3s and three par-4s, and provides a more casual or time-efficient round without compromising design quality. The short course is popular among members for warm-ups, family play, and short-game practice. Whether tackling the full-length course or enjoying a relaxed round on the Short Course, Kūkiʻo offers a golf experience grounded in thoughtful design and unparalleled coastal views.
