Built on ancient lava outcroppings and framed by panoramic ocean views, the 7,039-yard, par-72 layout is designed to showcase the natural terrain and coastal cliffs of Lāna‘i. Ocean views are visible from every hole, with several playing directly along the water’s edge. The most iconic of these is the par-3 12th hole, which features a tee shot over a deep ravine to a green perched on a lava bluff—offering both a visual thrill and a true test of distance control.
The course design favors strategic play, with wide fairways and open approaches that reward thoughtful shot-making. Elevation changes, coastal winds, and native grasses influence every round, making each visit unique. The combination of secluded location, five-star resort access, and dramatic topography places Manele Golf Course among the most memorable resort courses in the world. For those staying at the Four Seasons, it’s more than a round of golf—it’s an unforgettable island experience shaped by land, sea, and design.
