The 18-hole course was designed by Alex Bell and plays as a par 71, measuring 6,041 yards from the back tees. The layout features steady elevation changes and narrow, tree-lined fairways that require accurate tee shots. Small Bermuda greens roll fast, and the terrain adds complexity on approaches and putts. Several tee boxes offer wide views of the Honolulu skyline and Pacific Ocean.
The course’s routing rewards control over distance, and wind can shift conditions throughout the day. Popular among competitive amateurs, the club continues to host the annual Manoa Cup, a match-play event that showcases Hawai‘i’s top local talent. Oahu Country Club remains a foundational piece of the island’s golf culture, blending tradition, strategy, and a timeless setting.
