The Champions Course is the only course in California designed by the legendary Dick Wilson, who also created courses like Doral and Bay Hill. This 18-hole course has been restored to its original glory, with new bent grass greens and Bermuda fairways that wind through scenic hills and valleys. The course features strategic bunkers, water hazards and elevation changes that test your skills and reward your shots. The Champions Course is currently closed for enhancements by renowned architect Gil Hanse, who will prepare it for the 2024 NCAA Division I Golf Championships. The course is expected to reopen in late 2023.
Legends Course: A Parkland Style Course with a Rich History
The Legends Course is a parkland style course that showcases the natural beauty of Southern California. This 18-hole course has mature trees, gentle doglegs and narrow fairways that require accuracy and finesse. The course also preserves the legacy of the PGA TOUR, as holes 10-18 were used in the tour rotation. The Legends Course is open daily for The Club at La Costa Members and guests of the resort.
